My oldest Sweetie Girl
wanted to learn to sew.
She wanted to make her
doll, "Sunday", a new dress.
This was a sewing grandmother's
dream come true!!
So we looked through my
stash of fabrics and chose a
navy blue with scattered white
polk-a-dots. We found a perfect
little piece of trim that was a
strip of net rosettes.
We made a paper pattern
that we could reuse to make
more dresses. She thought it
a great idea!
Of course the first step of
learning to sew is mastering
how to sew by hand.
She did a great job!!
Sweetie Girl was so pleased
with her creation!
Sunday loves her new frock!
Grandma, Sweetie Girl, and Sunday
had a wonderful time together
sewing and chatting and learning.
What are you working on?
We'd love to hear about your
latest project!
Love & blessings,
Edie Marie
Your daughter has done a great job. I appreciate her eagerness in making a dress for her doll. Selection of dress color looks good.
